At Dusk - Heights
There seems to be a theme developing here: reviews of albums by bands I've reviewed before. I gave At Dusk a so-so review last time for the album The Summer of Promises Kept not because I thought it was a bad album but just that it wasn't my taste. I've updated Cool Noise main site with what I was going to blog.

Greg, from At Dusk, here. I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for such a thoughtful review. We get probably more than our fair share of negative criticism where, it seems to me, the person just didn't get it. They wanted us to be a particular thing and weren't and that was that. It's admirable that you can see, in something that doesn't suit your individual tastes, music that was made according to someone else's, just as valid, tastes, and that therefore might appeal to people. That's a tough thing to do and, at least by us, appreciated.
