Deep Elem

Heard the band Deep Elem on BBC Hereford & Worcstershire's Friday Session. They played two songs from their new single Down In The Woods that comes out this week. They are British Alt-country and obviously have a deep understanding of the music - including having taken a trip to Nashville to get to know it even better. They are very good and don't suffer in any comparison to the best of alt-country bands like early Songs: Ohia. I've finally thrown away my predjudice against British attempts at country because of bands like Deep Elem and Laconic. They live at Deep Elem
