Man & The Cousin by The Harpeth Trace

From the ashes of the wonderful band Boxing come The Harpeth Trace. I just couldn't get into this originally. Less immediate and in your face than Boxing and even more difficult to categorise. There is no compromise to easy listening. On A Letter To The Room they create a ghostly vibe mixed with an atonal stasis. While The Man & The Cousin takes Country music to places it hasn't been since Will Oldham took it to hell and back.
